Shoe Factory was released in the spring of 2000. This was the first trio CD and was very well recieved. It garnered nominations for an East Coast Music Award and a Canadian Independent Music Award for Best Blues Recording. The CD was released in Europe and we had several tours over to Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
"This CD for me was very important and I love the way it turrned out." I was the new guy in the band and this was our first recording as the trio. A lot of pressure really, there were people that wanted Joel and Thom to stay as a duo. We recorded this CD live off the floor in a small studio during the winter. This coincidently is our only winter recording so far.
